Chief Medical Officer at Clario
Todd Rudo, M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer at Clario. He has achieved board certifications in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology, adult echocardiography, and internal medicine. After 5 years in clinical medicine practicing electrophysiology and noninvasive cardiology, Dr. Rudo transitioned to a career in pharmaceutical research and development, with a focus on drug safety and pharmacovigilance. He has worked across multiple therapeutic areas within large and mid-size pharma.
In his current role with Clario, Dr. Rudo primarily serves in a consultative capacity, advising sponsors on optimal cardiac safety strategy for their development programs. This includes recommendations on protocol design, regulatory considerations, statistical analysis methodologies, and expert cardiac safety report writing. Additionally, he provides oversight of Clario’s ECG / Holter core lab services, and leadership of the biostatistics and medical writing teams. Dr. Rudo has a particular interest in leveraging novel technologies to improve the scientific rigor of clinical trials, while maintaining focus on patient burden.
