Key Initiatives
At Clario, our mission is to transform human health, and we know this starts within our own walls. That’s why we’ve implemented key initiatives that support diversity, equity and inclusion internally, setting the stage for our efforts to improve patient diversity in clinical trials globally.
- Recruit Diverse Workforce (SDG 10)
- Develop Diverse Workforce (SDG 10)
- Improve Compensation Equity (SDGs 5 and 10)
- Increase Diversity in Clinical Trials (SDG 10)
Recruit Diverse Workforce (SDG 10)
After a thorough review of our recruitment processes, we identified several areas of needed improvement. We quickly implemented new strategies that ensure we interview more diverse candidates. We’ve set specific goals for increasing diverse hiring and partner with leading organizations like OneTen to help us achieve them.
Develop Diverse Workforce (SDG 10)
At Clario, we believe that recruiting a more diverse workforce is only the first step. Creating a culture where everyone is valued and accepted for who they are must come next. Led by our Chief Diversity, Inclusion, and Sustainability Officer and our Diversity Council, Clario’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including the Women’s Leadership Network, Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (R.E.A.C.H.) network, and LGBTQ+, create opportunities for employees to feel at home while they grow personally and professionally.
Improve Compensation Equity (SDGs 5 and 10)
Due to various reasons, women and people of color typically earn lower wages than they should. At Clario, we are committed to improving compensation equity for both current and prospective employees.
Fair Pay & Remuneration Statement
Clario is committed to fair pay, transparent compensation principles and a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Our commitment is to set equal pay for doing similar work that requires equivalent qualifications and skills. Our ambition is to achieve pay parity and a commitment to an unbiased approach to equal pay and living wage.
This is consistent with Clario’s values and principles and our efforts to create a more gender-equal world, inside and outside of Clario.
We recognize that paying equitably for similar roles and performance is just one important piece of the equation. The other is equal representation of women and men at all levels. Today, 35% of our senior leadership (Director and above) globally are women. We have deliberate plans and goals in place to get to 50% of women in leadership by 2025.
Increase Diversity in Clinical Trials (SDG 10)
Through our partnerships with The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO), and Cornell University, Clario works tirelessly with sponsors and partners to expand access and create racial and ethnic diversity within patient studies.
